Prizes to win at CYCL Chess Camp!
CYCL’s Annual Summer Camp is a popular event with the kids!
Students rotate throughout the day from station to station including Strange But True Chess Stories (and the lessons they teach us), Chess Packets for Points, Computers & Electronic Chess, Jumbo Chess, Bughouse, & Blitz, and even Art & Origami with Coach Paul. During breaks, we serve snacks and lunch and the campers enjoy free play including chess and other games or movies. On the final day of camp, students cash in their points for prizes and EVERYONE goes home happy and with a new set of skills!
In 2011, over 50 students attended camp and had a great time!
