Dear Southern California Chess Coaches,
Thank you for bringing your team to the 2015 So Cal SuperStates Scholastic Chess Championships at the Valencia Hyatt this year.
Let’s keep it simple. Register your players using this spreadsheet (provided below) and attach it to an email to coachjay@cycl.org, then bring a check on the day of the event. If your players want to pay separately, then do NOT use this spreadsheet – have them use mail or online registration.

If you are bringing a large group (20+) players to the event, check with me and I can probably get you a discounted room at the Hyatt, or maybe better!
If you are bringing a REALLY large group (40+) I am sure that I can get you a free room.
If you are bringing a HUGE group (60+), I can get you more than one free room!
Please contact me via email coachjay@cycl.org if you are bringing a large group and need a room.

Nothing should be urgent, so if you have a parent standing in front of you and they have questions about SuperStates, don’t call me (I’m probably teaching), instead just tell the parent that you will find the answer and send me an email.
